PEACE HOME – Charity Centre at Karakkad, Ongallur, is envisioned as a safe, dignified, and nurturing space dedicated to care, support, and community service. The project is designed to foster a sense of comfort and belonging while responding sensitively to the emotional and functional needs of its users.

The architectural design emphasizes simplicity, clarity, and accessibility. Spaces are planned to encourage ease of movement, privacy where needed, and shared interaction in common areas. Natural light and ventilation play a key role in creating a healthy and uplifting environment, reinforcing the centre’s ethos of wellbeing and care.

Material selection and detailing are guided by durability, ease of maintenance, and a warm, humane character. The interiors are calm and understated, allowing the space to feel welcoming rather than institutional. Outdoor connections and open areas further support a peaceful atmosphere, offering moments of reflection and rest.

PEACE HOME stands as an example of architecture that serves a social purpose—providing a compassionate environment that supports its residents and the community with dignity, respect, and care.
